Maybe the Funniest Sidekick Ever

I was sad to hear about Harvey Korman last week. I watched the Carol Burnett Show all the time as a kid, and man was it hilarious, often due to Korman's comic abilities as well as his humanity when he would just start cracking up during a sketch - after all, the guy had a sense of humor! Of course he would always try to muffle his laughter with pained facial contortions, which just made everything even funnier. He admitted later in life that he was never meant to play a leading man, but when it came to playing a supporting comical role to Carol Burnett or Tim Conway (or in other roles such as in Blazing Saddles), he was a joy to watch.
