Sara Sue & I sometimes play the "copying game" when one of us says something and then the other repeats it. After her bath last night, Sara Sue began the game, and the dialogue was approximately as follows:
Me: OK, it's time to get out of the bath.
Sara Sue: OK, it's time to get out of the bath!
Me: Let me dry you off.
SS: Let me dry you off!
Me: Let's put on your robe.
SS: Let's put on your robe!
Me: OK, it's time to brush your hair.
SS: OK, it's time to brush your hair!
Me (turning clever): I will do everything my Daddy says.
SS: I will do everything my Daddy says!
Me: My Daddy is the most handsome guy in the world.
SS:
SS: {snicker} You're funny, Dad.
