Election Day Predictions

I am SOOOO glad that this election cycle is going to be over tomorrow. It's been nothing but nasty, and it continues to get nastier and nastier every 2 years. It's disgusting. And it's going to be BRUTAL in 2012. (Sadly, that election cycle starts in about 3 weeks.)

Anyway, since my baseball predictions were so bad, I thought I'd try to redeem myself with my political predictions:
Senate:
Dem: 51
Rep: 49

House:
Dem: 213
Rep: 222

And unbelievably, California will retain Barbara Boxer as Senator and hire JERRY BROWN(!!) to be Governor again. Both of those race results are due to absolutely inept campaigns run by their Republican opponents, who each held significant leads in the polls six months ago. Just can't WAIT to see the mess that Brown will bring to the state.

The Tea Party phenomenon is real, but seems to be fading a bit already. They'll still be around in 2012, but not as prominently as this year. And yes, Palin for President is a real possibility.

My one other prediction to mention in passing here: Sometime before the end of the decade, a currency crisis for the Dollar will be very real and very significant. This road we're on is frightening.

And on that note, Happy Election Day!!
