Sightings

Haven't done a celebrity sightings entry in a while, but here are a few that I remember from the past few months:

Miguel Ferrer - mostly a supporting actor, best known for his roles in TV's "Crossing Jordan" and the movie "Traffic" - at All Saints Episcopal in Beverly Hills. His brother Gabriel is the Senior Associate Pastor, and his cousin is George Clooney.

Rick Fox - former NBA forward for the Boston Celtics & Los Angeles Lakers - jogging on Wilshire near the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. He played a minor role in Spike Lee's excellent "He Got Game" and used to be married to the lovely Vanessa Williams.

The entire cast of Friends, with their families, at dinner at Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas. It was quite a reunion, and Jennifer & Courtney were kind and apologetic when they nearly ran into me coming around the corner after coming out of the ladies room. I made some goofy comment about getting run over by beautiful millionaires and they just kinda giggled.

Tom Bergeron - host of "America's Funniest Home Videos" and "Dancing with the Stars" - at the Commons at Calabasas shopping center.

Jeffrey Tambor - probably best known for his roles on "The Larry Sanders Show" and "Arrested Development" - at the Calabasas Farmers Market.

Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe on "24") also at the Farmers Market pushing around her baby in a stroller. Funny story here: Elisa overheard some guy who said, "Hey, it's you!" when he saw her, and then after a little bit of small talk, he asked, "You don't act that way in real life, do you?" She smiled and said, "I hope not!"

OK, April Fools on the Friends thing. :)
